Adam Phillips, Artistic Director & Conductor
Adam Phillips, tenor, is a native of Waynesboro, VA. He received both his bachelors and masters degrees from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. Adam has numerous years of experience as a singer and teacher. He has performed in various opera productions, singing the roles of Tito in Mozarts "La Clemenza di Tito" and Count Almaviva in Rossinis "Il barbiere di Siviglia". He continues to sing in a variety of choral ensembles as well. He is the founder and artistic director of the Shenandoah Valley Vocal Institute. Adam is passionate about teaching singers of all ages and enjoys teaching group vocal technique as well as private voice study. Adam is currently the Director of Music at First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Virginia.
